Our Story

ANAMMCO (Anambra Motor Manufacturing Company) was conceived under Nigeria’s Second National Development Plan (1970–1975), officially incorporated on January 17, 1977. With a rich history dating back to its commissioning in 1980 by President Alhaji Shehu Shagari, ANAMMCO began commercial production of trucks in 1981. Founded as a joint venture between the Federal Government of Nigeria and Daimler AG, the company has evolved into a leading player in the automotive manufacturing sector. Today, ANAMMCO is proudly driven by GUO and Sons Limited—an indigenous conglomerate with diversified interests in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and more.

Vehicle Production

ANAMMCO's commercial vehicles production plant produces fully built commercial vehicles from Completely Knocked Down (CKD) vehicle components and Semi Knocked Down (SKD) vehicle components supplied by affiliated Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
